How did the primary US indices perform on December 9?

A slide for marketplace celebrity Nvidia helped the US keep the indexes away from their data.

The S&P 500 fell 0.6 percent on Monday, its 57th all-time high. The Dow Jones Commercial Reasonable fell 0.5 percent, and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.6 percent from its personal record.

Nvidia, once the market’s biggest heavyweight, has come after China said it is investigating the chip giant for possible antitrust violations. Shares in Hong Kong jumped against Chinese leaders, certainly on the back of “moderately loose” fiscal policy. Oil and gold prices rose after the ouster of Syrian leader Bashar Assad from power.

On Monday:

The S&P 500 fell 37.42 points, or 0.6 percent, to 6,052.85.

The Dow Jones Commercial Average fell 240.59 points, or 0.5 percent, to 44,401.93.

The Nasdaq Composite fell 123.08 points, or 0.6 pc, to 19,736.69.

The Russell 2000 index of smaller companies fell 16.16 points, or 0.7 percent, to 2,392.84.

for the moment:

The S&P 500 is up 1,283.02 points, or 26.9 percent

The Dow is up 6,712.39 points, or 17.8 percent

The Nasdaq is up 4,725.34 points, or 31.5 percent

The Russell 2000 is up 365.76 points, or 18 percent.
